3D modelling, design

Print jobs almost always require software preparation, model correction and slicing. However, there may also be printing needs that do not require an existing 3D model. In such cases, both the 3D modelling and the execution are supervised by our colleagues. The source can be a model to be scanned, a technical drawing, a sketch or a simple verbal description, so of course this service can be combined with many other services.

3D printing, model preparation and repair: if a print model needs fine-tuning or repair, our colleagues use the following software: Netfab; Meshmixer; Blender; Autodesk Inventor; ZW3D

Slicing. To do this, colleagues use the following software: Simplify3D; Cura; Materialize Magics; Objet Studio Software; Craftware; Preform

3D modelling: for 3D design work, the Centre's staff use the following software (there may be overlap with software development workflows): Rhino; Inventor; Meshmixer; Autodesk Fusion 360; ZW3D; Libredesign; 3D Studio Max
