Department of Building Service Engineering (HVAC), Macskássy Árpád research group
Research Areas:

• Building energetic, energy audit (EPBD)

The goal of the research is to reduce the energy consumption of buildings. Achieving this goal to develop methology for diff erent type of buildings, to compare the measuring and asset rate.

• Renewable energy systems (heat pump, pellet boiler, solar systems)

• Thermal comfort and indoor air quality (IAQ)

• Energy consumption of heating and air conditioning systems, commissioning, and inspection

• Acoustic investigation of air conditioning and other HVAC components

Products & Services:

• Certification of buildings, energy audit

• Energy auditor training

• Thermal comfort measurements

• Measuring of performance of radiators, radiant panels

• Measuring of boiler efficiency

Special instrumentation, laboratory:

• Thermal comfort laboratory

• Laboratory for measurement of boiler effi iency

• Laboratory for measurement of effi ciency of solar collectors

• Acoustic laboratory
